Tangier and Tetouan never let visitors out in the cold. Depending on your budget,5-star palaces and small oarding houses abound in both cities.

Tangier and Tetouan are the home of a great number of hotels of all sorts. In Tangier, on the seafront there are large modern-style comfortable hotels dedicated to tourism. The main attractions consist of swimming pools, easy access to the beach and many discotheques. In Tetouan, the most luxurious hotel establishments are located on the seaside at Cabo Negro, Marina Smir, etc.

For stays of longer duration, the Tangier-Med area,just a few kilometers from Tetouan, offers an attractive choice of apartment hotels, and luxury establishments. It is also possible to stay at one of the vacation/holiday clubs on the Mediterranean coast. It is usually better to acquire your accommodations through a travel agency. For limited budgets, the Tangier and Tetouan medinas have small low-cost boarding houses. For nature and mountain enthusiasts, several stopover inns in the Tangier and Tetouan region offer accommodations, especially at Chefchaouen. The prices charged depend on the category and season. The two pearls of the North also offer youth hostels and welcome centers. Prices are very affordable for limited budget visitors. There are also some twenty Welcome Centers for young tourists. The list of youth hostels is available at the ONMT bureau.

For the adventuresome, there are camping grounds with the required infrastructures. Often they are located in specially chosen sites, near beaches and in woods. The prices practiced are very attractive. The most well known are Robinsons on the Atlantic coast, Tingis on Tangier bay and Echergui on the road to Assilah.
